PAYMENT POLICY
The purchasing and payment methods at Lokal.vn are as follows:
Payment method for in-store purchases at Lokal.vn:
- Cash on delivery is only applicable to areas where we provide free delivery or direct payment at: 3rd Floor, 39 Nguyen Thi Dieu, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Prepayment method:
- Bank transfer, direct cash payment at our office. Bank transfer method is applicable to customers outside the free delivery areas or customers who prefer this payment method.
- Company Account: Lokal Joint Stock Company (A shared account for all branches, required for orders valued at 20 million VND or above)
- Transfer information: Account Number: 29091368, Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) - District 7 Branch, Account Holder's Name: Lokal Joint Stock Company
WE WILL DECLINE PAYMENTS IF THE INFORMATION DOES NOT MATCH THE ACCOUNTS LISTED ABOVE. AND WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TRANSACTIONS YOU MAKE TO OTHER UNRELATED ENTITIES BASED ON THE INFORMATION PROVIDED.
- Direct payment in cash or by card (Visa, Credit Card, etc.):
- Customers can make payments at the nearest branches, where our staff will assist you. Please ensure that you receive an official receipt from the company, with the signature and stamp of the Chief Accountant or Director.
- Note: For orders valued at 20 million VND or above and require a VAT invoice, payment must be made through the company account. Please contact our sales staff before making the transfer for further instructions if needed. Only transfer funds to the account numbers provided below to ensure the safety of your transaction.
- In the case of payment with a Visa or MasterCard by swiping the card at Lokal.vn, customers must present their own card and sign the payment receipt. (Currently not applicable) We will not be responsible if you use someone else's card for payment.
Once we have checked and received confirmation "YES" from the bank via the account holder's phone, we will proceed to prepare and deliver the goods to you as soon as possible. II. PAYMENT INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY
- Security commitment
- The card payment system is provided by payment gateway partners ("Payment Gateway Partners") who are legally licensed to operate in Vietnam. Therefore, the card payment security standards on the Lokal.vn website comply with industry security standards.
- Security regulations
- The policy for card payments, including international cards and domestic cards (internet banking), ensures compliance with the security standards of the Payment Gateway Partners, including: • Customer financial information is protected throughout the transaction process using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. • Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification provided by Trustwave. • One-time password (OTP) sent via SMS to authenticate account access. • MD5 128-bit encryption standard. • Principles and regulations on information security in the financial banking sector as stipulated by the State Bank of Vietnam.
- The transaction security policy in the payment process of the Lokal.vn website applies to customers: • The company provides token retention utility - storing only encrypted strings provided by the Payment Gateway Partner to the company. The company does not directly store customer card information. The security of customer payment card information is implemented by the licensed Payment Gateway Partner. • For international cards: Customer payment card information that can be used to establish transactions is not stored in the Lokal.vn website system. The Payment Gateway Partner will store and secure this information. • For domestic cards (internet banking), the company only stores the order code, transaction code, and bank name. The company commits to strictly implementing necessary security measures for all payment activities conducted on the Lokal.vn e-commerce trading platform.
